Adamson Alternative Learning Session

Adamson Alternative Learning Session
The College of Computing and Information Technology (CCIT), through its faculty members from the Computer Science and Information Technology & Information Systems Departments, conducted a special learning session that went beyond the usual classroom discussions, connecting academic lessons with life, purpose, values, and deeper meaning last Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Known as the Adamson Alternative Learning Session (ALS), this modified teaching session aims to relate academic learning to everyday life while embodying the Adamson 3Cs: Competence, Character, and Charity. Spearheaded by the Campus Ministry Office, in collaboration with the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and the Office for Vincentian Identity and Mission, ALS is one of the highlights of Adamson University's celebration of the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul, the University's beloved patron. CCIT students from the morning classes actively participated in this meaningful learning experience, providing them with an opportunity to reflect beyond academics and appreciate how their education can contribute to their personal growth, relationships with others, and service to the community.
